Day 1: Bangkok - Nonthaburi / Thai House (-/L/D)
Morning pickup from your hotel in Bangkok. The journey begins with a romantic cruise along the Thonburi canals. These canals are a wonderful way to explore the traditional way of life of the city and the journey will take you to Nonthaburi, about 20 kilometers away from central Bangkok, and here you will check into your Thai House Homestay. This family-run guest house offers comfortable rooms with a very special charm. After an introduction, the family will invite you to join an in-depth cooking course of around 6 hours, in which you will be initiated into the secrets of traditional and modern Thai cuisine.
We will learn to cook:
Tom Yum Koong - Hot and sour prawn soup
Larb Moo - Spicy Thai pork salad (appetizer)
Phad Thai - Thai fried noodle (luncheon dish)
Kaeng Kari Kai - Yellow curry with chicken
Panaeng Neua - Beef curry in peanut sauce
The afternoon is at leisure. Overbight at the Thai House
Day 2: Nonthaburi – Bangkok (B/-/-)
Early risers can offer food with the local people to the local monk who passes by in his rowing boat at around 06:00. After a huge breakfast, you will be driven back to your hotel in Bangkok at around 0900.
