Tour Itinerary:

Arrival – Bangkok (-/-/D)

Arrive in Bangkok and check In at the Trang Hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Dinner and overnight at the Trang Hotel

Bangkok - City Tour (B/L/D)

After breakfast, visit Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn. After lunch, take a walk around the Flower Market, Pak Klong Talat. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Bangkok – Kanchanaburi (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive to Kanchanaburi Province, famous for the Bridge Over the River Kwai. Visit the most important POW Cemetery and the Bridge and then take a ride on the historic Death Railway. After lunch, it is time to relax at the Hot Springs in Saiyok. Drive back to Kanchanaburi for dinner and overnight at Good Times Resort

Kanchanaburi (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive to Elephant’s World to spend some quality time with the elephants at this sanctuary for retired elephants. There is no riding, no circus tricks, just a caring environment for these magnificent animals. Learn how they are taken care of and about their complex social structure. Have lunch at the sanctuary and midafternoon drive back to Kanchanaburi town and have time to relax at the resort.

Kanchanaburi – Ayutthaya (B/L/D)

After breakfast, head to Ayutthaya, stopping on the way in the ancient city of U-Thong to experience life of a local community, see some of the archaeological finds, dating back centuries, that have been discovered in the area and then enjoy a typical village lunch prepared with organically grown local ingredients. Continue to Ayutthaya and check into the Vasanna Design Hotel and have some time at leisure. Afterwards, enjoy an invigorating massage given by local blind people. For dinner we will take you on our own rice barge to cruise around the historic island of Ayutthaya.

Ayutthaya – Sattahip (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive to Sattahip and check in to the Namsai Beach Resort, located on a private beach well away from the crowds. After lunch, time to relax on the unspoilt beach and go swimming and also learn about the Navy-sponsored project there to help people with disabilities.

Rayong and Fruit Orchards (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive to Rayong to see the local fruit orchards and visit a local fishing village to but some freshly caught fish for the evening’s beach BBQ. Return to Sattahip and in the evening to enjoy a farewell BBQ on the beach.

Sattahip – Bangkok (B/L/-)

After breakfast, drive back to Bangkok with stops along the way for shopping. Arrive Bangkok and drop off at the airport for your flight home. End of services.

In some villages you may not be allowed take pictures of people and some places may be out of bounds to visitors. If you wish to take photographs or are unsure whether an action is appropriate, please ask your local guide for advice.
