Tour Itinerary:

Bangkok – Phatthalung

Guests are picked up from centrally located Bangkok hotels and transferred to the train station for the 14:30 departure to Phatthalung. The overnight train ride offers a comfortable experience in second-class air-onditioned sleeping berths, allowing travelers to rest as they journey south. For added flexibility, guests may choose a flight to Hat Yai with onward transfer to Ko Mak.

Phatthalung – Ko Mak

Arrive in Phatthalung around 06:30 and start the day with a hearty local breakfast before heading to Ko Mak. Upon arrival, receive a warm village welcome and settle into your homestay, where you’ll explore the fishing village and join in daily life. Learn how to craft fishing nets and traps, then enjoy a home-cooked dinner with your host family and overnight in the village.

Koh Mak – Ban Lamnai

After breakfast, take a boat trip on Songkhla Lake to observe local fishermen at work and enjoy some peaceful birdwatching. Mid-morning, bid farewell to your host family and travel toward Ban Lamnai, stopping en route for lunch at a local restaurant and a visit to shadow puppet workshops. Upon arrival, meet your new hosts and check into the community lodge, then unwind with a visit to Khao Kram Waterfall for a refreshing swim and a playful fish spa experience before dinner and overnight stay.

Lamnai – Tale Noi

Rise early for a scenic drive to a forested hilltop viewpoint, where you’ll sip local coffee as the sun rises over the landscape. At a nearby village learning centre, discover the process of rubber manufacture and try your hand at rubber tapping before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Continue to a cave temple steeped in legend, explore tales of living stone farewell to your hosts and journey to Thale Noi Waterfowl Reserve, one of Southeast Asia’s largest wetlands. En route, stop to see the crafting of traditional Pon drums and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before arriving at Sri Pak Phra Resort, beautifully set on the lakeside. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Tale Noi – Phatthalung - Departure

Begin the day with a short drive to a lakeside viewpoint and watch the sun rise over the iconic yor yak—stilted fishing platforms scattered across the water. Then embark on a tranquil boat trip through Thale Noi Waterfowl Reserve, home to over 180 species of birds nesting among lotus flowers, reeds, and grasses, with glimpses of water buffaloes swimming in the lake. After breakfast at a local coffee shop, browse krajud workshops, where artisans craft mats, baskets, and hats from hardy wetland grass. Late morning, drive back to Phatthalung with a stop at the Bamboo Garden for lunch.

Services conclude in Phatthalung town, with onward travel options to Bangkok, Trang, Krabi, Phuket, or Surat Thani for island connections in the Andaman Sea or Gulf of Thailand.
